LNT Center of Performing Arts

Since 2011 LNT has been providing the area best in arts education .It was also the home of the Lucky Nickel Theatre Company, founded in 2007, which has produced over 15 productions as the areas only all age theatre company .
LNT recently made it's debut in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival this past fall, as well as had the honor to perform onstage at The Stone Pony with the one and only premier fusion genre band Midnight Mosaic!
As of January 2016 LNT Center of Performing Arts closed it's doors in Oaklyn N.J. and it's farbringing it's farewell production From the Looking Glass to the Woodland School Auditorium where Lucky Nickel Theatre Co. held it's second production The Wizard of Oz, as well as Peter Pan,You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch and Grease.

Through Games and Improvisation kids are given the tools to feel comfortable to create and learn in a fun safe environment.
Ages 8-12-Drama 1-Tuesdays 6pm-7pm
Games and Impovisation are part of the learning process. Intro to Character Discovery and development are the second part of this session.

Week 1-Intro:Discovering your character to ask the 5 questions who what where when how.
Week 2-Character types and Archetypes
Week 3-Beats and Language in the text.
Week 4-Improvisation
Week 5- Acting is reacting

LNT Rock Band Camp

This sessions' focus will be songwiting. LNT Rock bands have to opportunity to work in a band environment with other musicans and vocalists. Our Bands have perfromed in Festivals all over theTri State Area.

The wonderful magigal world of the storybook classics brought to life Children have the opportunity to explore and interpret a fairytale in the way they remember it!
Each week we will read a story and recreate it through costumes,props and "actingg it out".
